Haha wow its been a little while since I last posted. I just got really busy and when i had down time, always had other things that i wanted to do instead, lol. So on the job hunting front, nothing yet... Its very frustrating continually applying to places and never getting the jobs. I have gained more hours at the job i have now (with the possibility for more), which is awesome, but it would still be nice to find something to fill the days I don't work. Have free time Tues, Fri, and Sat is just a bit much for me and I find it hard to always fill the days with productive things. It would be nice to be a bit busier now that i don't have school to do that for me. I am also hoping that I may just eventually be able to work full time at the place I'm at now, which would be my top choice, but until that happens, i will continue to search for another job to fill the void. lol.
On the medical front, the visit to the the Neurologist's office turned up nothing. My MRIs were completely clean of anything big or small in my brain or veins that could be causing my migraines. While that's good news, its also disheartening because I would love to figure out why I get these constant headaches. They simply prescribed me new medication to take, one of which I'm suppose to take twice a day to prevent headaches. I keep searching for answers though, because i don't want to have to take medication for the rest of my life. I also went to an ENT doctor to see if it could be my sinus' but that also came up with nothing. My sinus' are 98% clear and the tiny mucus that is in a few, is not enough to cause headaches and its also not my septum, which is almost 99.9% straight. My next course of action may be to be tested for possible allergies that could cause headaches as a side effect of when i eat or come into contact with it. I have also stopped eating chocolate, because i found out that my maternal grandmother gets migraines when she eats chocolate. I (sadly) have found that it did reduce the number I get a week, though they do still occur at least once a week, instead of 2 or 3 a week. I also discovered that my paternal grandmother got migraines when she was stressed, which probably explains the remaining headaches and means i can to nothing about them but treat them when they come. Hopefully that's not the case and its something else. Though probably not, knowing my luck. At least all these doc visits are narrowing things down. Also, i began t see a chiropractor to reduce the tension in my neck and shoulders, since often when i get headaches, pressure builds in my neck. As i have been in a few car accidents, it was felt this could be a possible antagonist of my migraines as well. Hopefully i eventually figure something out and can get my headaches down to just one a month or so. That would be pure heaven!
